Tips for Optimum Ceiling Fan Usage

In the winter months, run your ceiling fans in the clockwise direction. This pushes the warm air up and down the walls, gently circulating warm air without causing a chilly breeze. This technique can lower heating costs by as much as 10%.

In the summer months, run your ceiling fans in the counter-clockwise direction. Effective circulation can make you feel up to eight degrees cooler, and reduce air conditioning bills by up to 40%.
